RG 135 - RG199 Coax Cable

Due to changing requirements in electronic communications, coaxial cable is constantly being improved to enable faster speeds and better performance. Of our collection of RG135-RG199 coaxial cables, many are now engineered for high temperature applications. RG142, RG174, RG178, and RG179 are all available. RG142, RG174, RG178, and RG179 are commonly requested, well engineered cables.

Miniaturized coaxial cable performs extremely well for smaller high-speed applications, while still maintaining low signal loss over long distances. Cable TV companies use miniaturized RG coax cables to carry signals to homes and businesses. The coaxial cables can also be used for applications like graphic systems installations, CRT installations, and closed circuit TV.

TYPE I (MIL-C-17) Coaxial Cable
Description: Black Polyvinylchloride
Characteristics: Excellent weathering and abrasion properties, However, it is of the contaminating type and will cause cable attenuation to increase with age. Can be used for direct burial.
Temperature Range: -40°C to +80°C

TYPE II (JAN-C-17A) Coaxial Cable
Description: Grey Polyvinylchloride
Characteristics: A semi-contaminating jacket.
Temperature Range: -25°C to + 8°C.

TYPE IIA (MIL-C-17) Coaxial Cable
Description: Grey or Black Polyvinylchloride.
Characteristics: Noncontaminating. Good weathering and abrasion resistant properties. Can be used for direct burial.
Temperature Range: Under .25 OD, -55°C to +90°C. Over .25 OD, -40°C to +90°C.

TYPE IIIA (MIL-C-17) Coaxial Cable
Description: Black Polyethylene.
Characteristics: Moisture resistant, abrasion resistant, defies ultra violet damage. Noncontaminating; recommended for direct burial.
Temperature Range: -55°C to +85°C.

TYPE IV (MIL-C-17) Coaxial Cable
Description: Black Synthetic Rubber.
Characteristics: This jacket material is used only on high voltage pulse cables. The basic material is polymerized chloroprene.
Temperature Range: Under .60 OD, -55°C to + 80°C. Over .50 OD, -40°C to +80°C.

TYPE V (MIL-C-17) Coaxial Cable
Description: A Fiberglass Braid.
Characteristics: Impregnated with silicone varnish to provide abrasion resistance and a moisture seal.
Temperature Range: -55°C to +175°C.

TYPE VI (MIL-C-17) Coaxial Cable
Description: Silicone Rubber Dacron Braid.
Characteristics: Two wraps of silicone rubber impregnated fiber glass tape which is fused into a homogeneous layer. A dacron braid is applied, followed by a high temperature fluorocarbon lacquer.
Temperature Range: -55°C to + 175°C.

TYPE VII (MIL-C-17) Coaxial Cable
Description: PTFE (Polytetra-floudethyene)
Characteristics: Either extruded or tape wrap. Withstands high temperatures; chemically inert; insoluble in liquids and gases.
Temperature Range: -55°C to +200°C.

TYPE VIII (MIL-C-17) Coaxial Cable
Description: Synthetic Rubber.
Characteristics: This material is a polychloroprene compound and is used with only a few pulse cables. Its primary use is jacket material for multiconductor cables.
Temperature Range: -55°C to + 75°C.

TYPE IX (MIL-C-17) Coaxial Cable
Description: PTFE (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene).
Characteristics: Excellent weathering properties and chemically inert.
Temperature Range: -55°C to +200°C.
